Our physical store is located at 3 Muscat Lane South, Nova Constantia in Cape Town and we welcome visitors during our trading hours. You are also welcome to visit outside our trading hours by setting up an appointment telephonically.

We offer beginner’s bonsai courses and workshops. These can be purchased here.  They are very popular so please book timeously to avoid disappointment. Follow our social media and blog for updates.

Please bring your tree in for free advice, try and bring it as soon as possible as we can often help an ailing bonsai. Do not repot or fertilise a sick bonsai. Ask for help before it’s too late.

Sunlight requirements vary from species to species. We suggest that each tree gets at least 3-4 hours direct sunlight per day, this will ensure your tree remains healthy. Morning sun is preferable.

Repotting and styling are integral to maintaining a healthy tree. We encourage bonsai growers to maintain their own trees, but we can assist where necessary. Please bring your tree to our nursery, based in Constantia, during our trading hours for further advice or care. If we cannot do it while you wait you will need to leave it with us for a few days so that we can repot, trim and give your tree the necessary care it needs.

Once we received payment, your parcel will be packaged and sent to you as soon as possible. Our courier offers a fast and efficient service. The courier collects and delivers from Monday to Friday.

We accept Visa and Master cards, debit cards, Snapscan, EFT and you can pay off your purchases with Mobicred.

If your order arrives and you discover an item is broken, please contact us ASAP so that we can replace the item.

Simply, email or WhatsApp us and attach a photo.

Delivery costs are determined by weight and volume of the parcel and distance to recipient.

At Bishopsford, we are strong believers in sustainability, we try our utmost to use reusable packaging that will protect your goods and limit the impact on the environment. We have lots of experience packing parcels and your purchases will be packed securely to avoid damage.

We deliver nationwide throughout South Africa.

Local

If you are in Cape Town central areas your order should reach you on the same day or the next day after receipt of payment. 

Main Center

If you are in any of the other main centers in South Africa your order should take 2 – 3 working days for delivery. 

Regional

If you are in an area considered as regional by the courier then your order should take roughly 3-5 working days to reach you.

We are located at 3 Muscat Lane South, Nova Constantia, Cape Town. If you wish to collect your goods directly. 

We work with multiple couriers to find the most efficient and affordable courier to deliver our goods. However, if you wish to collect your goods, contact us and we will gladly assist.
