Acer palmatum – Red Japanese Maple bonsai potted in glazed ceramic Chinese bonsai pot.

It is a deciduous Japanese maple known for its rich red to burgundy foliage that deepens through the growing season and turns vibrant in autumn. It has a graceful branching structure, fine leaves, and a compact growth habit, making it ideal for bonsai. Well-suited to medium-sized bonsai, it responds well to pruning, develops excellent ramification and prefers partial shade with protection from strong wind and midday sun.
