This workshop is ideal for anyone looking for expert help with pruning, shaping or repotting. Bring along your bonsai, tools, turntables, pots and other essentials.

Booking is essential—please let us know if you can’t attend after reserving your spot.

During the workshop, you’ll also have the chance to purchase bonsai supplies, including potting soil, mesh, Multicote, pots, starter plants and more.

This workshop is best suited for those who’ve completed a “Create Your Own Bonsai” beginner’s course or have basic bonsai knowledge. Please note that this is a workshop, not a full beginner’s course.

What’s the Difference Between a “Create Your Own Bonsai” Course and a Bishopsford Workshop?

The beginner’s course offers a structured approach to bonsai, covering core information, a live demonstration and hands-on practice in designing, pruning, wiring and potting a tree to take home. It’s designed for those with a little bonsai knowledge.

Our workshops, on the other hand, are interactive and hands on. Bring your own trees to work on with expert guidance. They’re ideal for those with some bonsai experience or who have completed an introductory course.
