Bishopsford Bonsai Workshop – 15 February 2025 will take place from 11h00 to 13h00. The workshop will be held at Bishopsford Bonsai Nursery, located at 3 Muscat Lane South, Nova Constantia, Cape Town.

This workshop is perfect if you require assistance with pruning or need other bonsai-related advice. Please bring along your bonsai, tools, turntables, pots, and other necessary items.

Please note that booking is essential. Please diarise and let us know if you are unable to attend.

You will have the opportunity to purchase potting soil, mesh, Multicote, pots, starters, and other bonsai supplies that you may need.

This workshop is primarily intended for individuals who have completed a Create Your Own Bonsai beginner’s course or possess some bonsai knowledge. This is not a bonsai course.

What is the difference between our Create Your Own Bonsai Beginner’s Course and a Workshop at Bishopsford?
The course is structured to cover as much information as possible, followed by a demonstration and a practical exercise where you will design, prune, wire and pot a tree to take home. This is aimed at beginners or those with a little bonsai knowledge.
Workshops are interactive and hands on. You bring your tree(s) for advice and work on them under guidance. They are targeted at those that have completed a course or have some experience growing bonsai.
