Description

Green dried Moss is a versatile and valuable growing medium with excellent moisture retention properties, neutral pH, and antibacterial characteristics. It finds applications in terrariums, reptile cages, kokedama balls, hanging basket linings, soil mixtures, orchid cultivation, succulent growing mediums, seed, cutting and air-layering propagation. Available in a dry, long fibre form, it retains water while maintaining proper drainage. Although it differs from sphagnum moss from Chile or New Zealand, it still serves its purpose and offers a more affordable alternative. Hydrating the moss properly before use is important for optimal moisture retention and benefit.
